Overdue Reveal
There was a casual saunter to the ghoul's walk as he ascended the spiral stairs. Maybe a little too casual. But there was no other way to go about this. Making a giant deal out of it would hype himself up in the worst ways, and it would make the man he was to see even more anxious than he already was, so he had to just take a breath and work his way up.
Tab had no idea what to expect. Those burning sigils really gave no clues to what the final product was. If there were any hints within the meaning, he was not versed enough in the text to read even one. The man could be bright pink for all he knew. All that Tab did know was that it was accidental and unfortunately self inflicted. His mind was coming up with possibilities that were almost definitely worse than reality, save for a few. He had seen all sorts of things during his horrible time in Hell so what his brain was working with was of the darkest depths.
He almost tripped on the top step; Tab hadn't even realized he was up this high already. Zoning out like that tends to make time zip right by. The walk he'd made many times before felt just a tad off and something pulled at his gut. There were nerves, yes, but they stemmed from worry about Terzo more than anything. All he had to do now was make his presence at that door known. One hand in his pocket, one now pulled out.
Knock, knock, knock
"You awake in there? I'm here."

“Oh wouldn’t that be something. ‘What brings you in today?’ ‘My father made me ashamed of cursing myself like an idiot years ago, and is cock blocking me from the grave. Now I’m anxious about doing the one thing I have no problem with the rest of the year because of how I look.’” All the while sitting there reaking like a cheap whore that they pulled from the back and pretending his mind isn’t preoccupied. That would be one of the worlds most awkward appointments ever, so yeah better to wait till after the seasons done.
Pushing himself up he carefully slid his body off and wandered over to grab his bottle, bringing it closer so he could take it if he needed to. Setting it on the night stand, he stretched out his wings fully before crawlling back up into his spot. Though now he positioned himself so that he could rest his head on his chest and lay with his legs between his, a little more comfortable than just tugged up on top.
“Now either I am going to take a nap, take a shot or we are going to figure out how fast we can get both of us up again.” He purred, crossing his arms as he closed his white eye. “You have found yourself in my schedule now big boy~”
