On the way to his office Klaus stepped in time at a leisurely pace. He was in no hurry for he had finished the day's work and he had gotten a tad ahead for the next few days accidentally. Tends to happen to the man with his nose constantly to the grindstone. There was nothing eventful about today much to Klaus' enjoyment. Eventful days were good. That meant he had ample time to himself. Celeste had gone out for a day of self pampering (all at Klaus' expensive, of course).

A book he had just nabbed from the library tucked underneath his arm and cane in the opposing hand, Klaus fiddled with the keys to his office door, humming to himself as he unlocked the handle.
