Trials take 3

The trials. Again. Holy hell a third time this year…

He was so tired of this year. Lavender had passed them, Mara too but had vanished. Now Dahlia wanted a go at them, even though he was hesitant to put her through them. She was Copia’s wife… and she just had the twins a few months ago by no means was he wanting to throw her into arguably one of the most hellish things he does to peoples minds in the name of ‘education’. Diving into her brain to pull out her nightmares, using them against her? Yeah ‘Frater Imperator’ would be up his ass for sure.

Whatever, if she insisted because she wanted to expand her practices then so be it…

Sitting in his office, he was sitting in the dark with his head in his hands. A mild migraine had settled itself in this afternoon after a morning of trying to find where Johnny had hidden himself. He was still clearly doing his job, turning in reports and taking care of Glitch but he had been avoiding Secundo outside of text conversations and the rare sighting that he knew he couldn’t out run. Papa knew that he had struck a nerve by chewing him out for letting Lavvy take up a station. But they both thought that they were ready for this…

Hopefully the trials today would go smoothly. He’s only essentially mentally kicking the shit out of the current Prima mater of the Ministry.

Sitting up, the older man reached out and waved his hand, opening the door from his desk. His office was shrouded in darkness aside from the light that poured in from the hallway and from the window that illuminated him from behind. It was clear he was having a day, but he wasn’t going to talk about it.

“Sit.” He gestured to one of the chairs infront of him. “We have to go over the trials before we start them.”

Raising his head slowly, he watched her movements, shutting the door behind her quickly so that no one else would follow with.
