Beyond repair

Bathed in oil, doused in a wicked flame a being of water is stripped away and in its place is left nothing but an elemental of fire.

Dew was to be left alone in the chapel after the ritual had concluded, Imperator pleased with the finished transformation had walked out with a smile while Secundo came to set the ghoul free.  His body was covered in a layer of ash and burnt scales, his gils had been scarred over and the webbing between his fingers and toes was burned away. The water ghouls long thin tail with beautiful finning along either side before coming to a barbed point was stripped down to the bare whip like limb. It dangled limply over the edge of the alter as he dragged in painful wheezing breaths. The older man was apologetic as he came over, his hands moving slow as he undid the cooling chains. They were still hot to the touch, but he wasn’t going to stick around for the moment Dew was conscious enough to fight back. Each heavy wrought iron cuff dropped off his ankles and wrists, leaving the weakened being lying flat on his back in agony. The world around him was nothing but static, ears ringing and his body burning.  His vision was clouded over as the eyes that were once a soft sea foam green were focused on the rafters of the ceiling above.

As the last weight left him, he heard a voice near his head though the words were impossible to make out.

Secundo cleared his throat as he called Swiss, he had to pick a band mate to come collect him and well… that one seemed to be one of Dew’s favorites.

“The chapel. I would come quickly, he’s going to need someone when his mind comes out of the shock.” He said flatly, hanging up before the multi ghoul could say anything.

Vanishing in a puff of smoke, Secundo left Dewdrop alone and cold… blind and in pain.
